Bas de Jong
Bas de Jong studied the clarinet at the Royal Conservatory at The Hague with Jolle Huckriede.
In succession he was principal clarinettist at the Radio-Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Residentie Orchestra at The Hague.
For over 30 years he has been professor of clarinet at the Utrecht Conservatory.
Bas de Jong is a distributor of Viotto mouthpieces in Europe.

Heinz Viotto is a German engineer who has specialised in re-facing clarinet mouthpieces. Over the last 30 years he has gathered approximately 130 different faces of clarinet mouthpieces of professional clarinet players, the technicalities of which he can dispose of for your benefit.
For example: the N1 facing can be supplied as N1+2, i.e. the facing is 2% more open.
Or: N1-2, the facing is 2% narrower.
Viotto uses mouthpieces of the German Zinner factory.
